What The Hang? (“we”, “us”) helps you discover things to do. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and mobile apps, and how we use it.

- Name and email address, when you create an account or contact us.
- User/account ID that identifies your account.
- Profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
- Precise location, only when you grant location permission. This is optional — you can use the app without it.
- Search history — the searches you run in the app.
- Product interaction and usage data — such as searches, saves, clicks, and other in-app interactions.
- Basic analytics and performance data that helps us keep the app working well.
How we use it
- Account functionality, such as signing in and syncing your saves
- Running the app and its features
- Personalized recommendations
- Location-aware discovery, such as showing what’s nearby
- Analytics and product improvement
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your personal information or precise location to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Service providers
Third-party service providers may process limited information only as needed to operate the app, such as hosting and sign-in. When you open a ticket or venue link, you leave What The Hang? and that site’s own policy applies.
Your choices and requests
You can turn off location permission at any time in your device settings. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and data. You can also delete your account directly from Delete account.
Children
What The Hang? is not specifically directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above.
